Fordura Germany was created in Radebeul in 1982, by Forrest Brothers (J. Forrest and H. Forrest) with name of Forrest Brothers Manufacturing GmbH in their small family workshop, which actually was a car garage.
We changed our company name to: FORDURA Recycling Tools Germany GmbH. In the year of 1995, the company name changed into Fordura Recycling Tools Germany GmbH, setting the foundation for the Fordura Group. Over the years, Fordura has become one of the world’s leading blades & knives manufacturers in this market, and our blades are widely applied to renewable recycling resources in plastic, tire, rubber, metal, e-waste, MSW, textile, packaging, paper and wood, like shredder blades & knives, granulator blades, wood chipper blades, hydraulic shear knives etc.
