Amortiguadores:
La masa se amortigua por la fricción del líquido en los taladros estranguladores de la cabeza del émbolo o en el espacio entre émbolo y carcasa.
Resorte:
Gracias a la compresibilidad del elastómero, que puede llegar hasta el 15%, se consigue el efecto de resorte.
El retorno de la biela a la posición inicial se consigue mediante la distensión del elastómero comprimido.
