We are a second generation family business with locations in Lostorf and Grenchen.
Thanks to the continuous development of our products and processes, we are setting new standards and enabling our customers to achieve technological and economic progress.
Since 1984, we have been manufacturing test systems and fine-pitch adapters for assembled and bare circuit boards. In our own test center, we test several million PCBs per year, of which the largest is in the fine-pitch range. Long-term experience as well as the applied synergy from adapter construction, mechanical engineering and test center enable us to meet the highest quality requirements.
As a supplier of efficient automation solutions and robot integration, we draw on our many years of experience in the areas of visual recognition and the most accurate positioning of workpieces. ENGMATEC GmbH is globally present as a market leader in the field of test and assembly machines for electronic components and products.
The mechanical engineering company implements automation solutions for the most different production processes, from assembly to packaging. The portfolio ranges from test connectors over single workplaces, rotary tables and semi-automatic lines up to fully automatic complete solutions.
In addition to the assembly mounting the systems are often equipped with integrated measurement and test systems. Our special strength lies in the combination of automated or manual assembly processes with integrated test technology.
The field of measuring and test equipment includes standard modules for in circuit test and functional test (test adapters, test fixtures, in-line test systems), temperature testing systems and test plugs.

Pollux is specialized in the development, planning and setup of testing systems.
As an independent and neutral service provider we furthermore operate two testing facilities for turbochargers, combustion engines and components.
Our centrally located companies in Kirchheimbolanden (near Ludwigshafen) and Gommern (near Magdeburg) provide a good connection to the metropolitan areas of the German automotive industry.
The operation of our company-own test benches and test equipment at both testing facilities as well as concentrated development competence in the automatic control engineering is a clear benefit for our customers in both areas.
