R&D Department

HIRSCHI Filtres was founded by Mr Pierre HIRSCHI and Mrs Martine HIRSCHI, in Savagnier, Switzerland.
1983
HIRSCHI Filtres moves to their new 800 m2-premises, in Cernier, Switzerland.
1984
First representation of the company HIRSCHI Filtres at the Geneva Motor Show, Switzerland.
1989
Jura Filtration is founded in partnership with Mr Bruno BAZAUD in Villers le Lac - with a storage area of 130 m² and 2 employees in France.
1991
Jura Filtration moves to Houtaud - 350 m² and 3 employees in France.
1992
The Cernier site expands upto 2,000 m2.
1994
Expansion of new warehouse upto 2,500 m² and 9 employees in France.
1996
The brand “HIFI FILTER” is registered.
1998
The development process grows - storage area of 4,000 m² and 22 employees in France.
2002
Jura Filtration moves to Pontarlier – storage area of 5,500 m² and 43 employees in France.
2004
The Cernier site goes through a further expansion, surface area now being 5,000 m2.
2006
The Jura Filtration site goes through a new expansion, the surface area is now 11,500 m² and 79 employees in France.
2007
HIFI FILTER ROM is founded in Romania, 500 m².
2009
More than 100 employees in France and 150 in the Group.
2011
The brand “H-AIR FILTER” is registered.
2012
The new 2,000 m² HIFI FILTER ROM premises is constructed and the company relocates.
More than 130 employees in France and 180 in the Group.
2013
HIFI FILTER POLSKA is founded near warsaw.
The France site goes through a new expansion, in order to increase the area to 15,500 m².
2014
The Group has more than 230 employees spread over the 4 sites, and 23,000 m2 of storage area in Europe.
The administrative premises of the Cernier site in Switzerland are undergoing expansion.
2016
HIFI FILTER IBERIA is founded (Spain).
2020
The Group has more than 500 employees spread over the 7 sites, and 41,000 m2 of storage area in Europe.

Excellent in processing stainless steel

Since it was founded in 2005 - as a German sister company of the Dutch Horrichs Apparatenbouw BV and Holland Filter BV - UrMaTi Apparatebau GmbH has combined the knowledge and experience of these two traditional companies.

The products were originally used for process and waste water treatment, with extensive experience being gained particularly in the food industry.

Especially in this area, it is of great importance that the equipment is made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant materials. The decision to exclusively use stainless steel and other high-quality materials was then quickly made. Within the food industry, UrMaTi Apparatebau GmbH has acquired knowledge in the field of production of various apparatuses and internal transport systems.

Of course, these devices are also made of stainless steel. From the food industry we have been able to gain experience in the field of stainless steel industry as well as in other branches of industry.

The UrMaTi Apparatebau GmbH differs from other suppliers by a consistent, customer-oriented tailoring of their products.

If necessary, manufactured devices can be professionally assembled on site with the help of VCA-certified employees.

For many decades now, RT-Filtertechnik (formerly
Regeltechnik Friedrichshafen) has worked together with its customers to
develop top-standard filtration systems, filter elements and
accessories. Over the years, it has become a synonym for competence and
now stands for effective filtration, user-friendliness and optimal
environmental compatibility.What do we mean by effective filtration?

• A careful choice of glass-fibre fabric based on years of experience and practical testing.
• Consistent use of magnetic pre-filtration. Magnetic pre-filtration has a special advantage in that it retains both ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic particles, from the very small to the very large. This not only prevents clogging, but also ensures that very large impurities such as welding beads are filtered out of the hydraulic fluid, thus effectively relieving the strain on the filter element and prolonging its lifetime considerably. At the same time, the flow direction from the inside of the filter element outwards prevents any solid particles from being washed back into the hydraulic system during filter maintenance.
• User-friendliness is a key feature. Maintenance tasks are extremely easy to perform, as the filter element is always removed from above. This prevents any oil from escaping when the filter element is changed, so that there is no risk to the environment
