Founded at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena in 2001, asphericon has developed into a technological leader in the field of asphere manufacturing thanks to a great deal of expertise and passion.asphericon combines a researcher’s pioneering spirit with the practical ability to implement customer-oriented, economical solutions.The latest manufacturing technologies, continually evolving proprietary control software, world class measurement equipment, and highly qualified employees ensure that asphericon provides over 600 customers worldwide with innovative solutions.We will assist you from the initial optical design, through manufacturing and coating, precision metrology and documentation, to the assembly of optical modules and optical characterization.

Optomech GmbH provides you support in all tasks around the product development in optics, optomechanics and optoelectronics, medical technology, precision engineering and metrology. Our range of activities encompasses services for the entire development process included product definition with the elaboration of specifications, design, construction, prototype fabrication and full series launch with its support.
Of course, Optomech is also happy to handle your full series launch.

Edge grinding and chamfering equipment allows for the reduction of lens/mirror/prism diameters, while our coating equipment enables us to apply protective aluminum, gold, silver and metallic mirror finishes to many types of optical component.
